If you’re looking for a church to visit, we’d love for you to join us on a Sunday afternoon! As a first-time visitor, here’s what to expect at Missio:

Our Sunday service is about an hour and a half long. It has a comfortable, informal feel, with a contemporary worship style. Dress is casual. We also have communion each week. We also have a nursery and children’s ministry for kids up to 7 (more on that below!)

At Missio, we believe that listening is a form of love, and that everyone has something to contribute, so there is a lot of participation from our congregation every Sunday, including times of Q&A in our sermons.

While we deeply value this mutuality, please know that you're welcome to participate only as much as you feel comfortable.

We meet on Sundays from 4:30-6:00pm in the Christus Victor Lutheran Church building at 1615 NC-54, Durham 27713. Parking is available at the church.

Missio Kids

Children are also welcome to stay with their parents during the service. We welcome the noise!

All Missio Kids volunteers have passed background checks and follow Missio's safety protocols.

We have a nursery available throughout the service for kids ages 0-3, and we have children's church during the sermon for kids ages 4-7.

We have a lot of interaction in our Sunday sermons because we highly value mutuality, but we edit this out before posting so that everyone feels free to share thoughts openly during the service.
